Best Legal Conference will gather in Limassol partners from local and international legal firms, corporate lawyers, founders and managers of international companies based in Cyprus. It is a well-established B2B event organized in Cyprus since 2014. The event is held under the auspices of the Cyprus Bar Association.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Best Legal Conference will start in the evening on the 21st of September with a networking cocktail for conference delegates and some VIP guests from the legal community of Cyprus, Cyprus Parliament, Municipality of Limassol. Members of the Economic Diplomacy Council which brings together founders and CEOs of local and international business will be invited to join this event.

The event will be concluded by an informal gathering in Limassol’s old town to discuss the content and outcome of the meetings.

PLENARY SESSIONS PROGRAM

The conference will be officially opened by H.E. Mr. Nicos Nouris, Minister of Interior and Dr. Christos Clerides, President of Cyprus Bar Association.

They will share their opinions on the recent changes in Cyprus laws and regulations, give their forecast for 2022-2023 challenges.

The first plenary session will start with a review of the Cyprus legal world developments and new opportunities to attract International business to Cyprus. The main subject of the session is “Reforms in the Justice and Judicial system: How the Newly Created Commercial Court and Admiralty Court in Cyprus will Change the Legal Procedures.” (Stavros Pavlou, Managing Partner, Patrikios Pavlou & Associates LLC)

The second plenary session will be the place to discuss the following topics:

  1. The European Union Sanctions Imposed on Russia and their Effect in Cyprus. (Georgia Constantinou-Panayiotou, Managing Partner, Constantinou Panayiotou & Co LLC)
  2. The Legality of the Sanctions under EU and Cyprus Domestic Law. (Konstantinos Kouroupis, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, Frederick University)

After these sessions, the delegates will continue the discussion during a business lunch.

THEMATIC SESSIONS

In the afternoon, the delegates can attend thematic sessions that are organized in three different conference rooms

Content Marketing and SEO for Legal Firms in Cyprus. This training will explain the foundations of content marketing and review aspects of the Google algorithm for ranking content and recommend what kind of content should be created by legal firms in order to rank for certain keywords.

Unfolding the Current and Expected Cyprus Transfer Pricing Law Requirements with Real Life Case Studies.The workshop will be carried through real-life case studies of the most common business activities carried out in Cyprus, including financing activities, calculation of embedded intellectual property income included in the sale of goods and services, valuation of intangibles, and international distribution activities.

EVENT ORGANISERS

The Best Legal Conference is organized by the Successful Business Magazine and the SBLC Business Club. This legal conference is held under the auspices of the Cyprus Bar Association. 

THE FEES AND REGISTRATION

The fee to participate in the conference is 290 euros, which includes plenary sessions, thematic sessions, lunch, coffee breaks, two evening events. There is an option “content only” (200 euro) – it does not include lunch and networking evening events. The remaining option is “one seminar only” that includes participation in one thematic event of the afternoon program (70 euro).

For quality networking purposes, the number of delegates is limited to 100-120 participants. The registration process will stop when this number is reached.
