Anastasis Neophytou & Associates LLC, a law firm based in Limassol,is looking to hire an experienced Litigation Lawyer.
Requirements
- Recognized law degree and membership at the Cyprus Bar Association.
- Possession of an LL.M or other postgraduate degree or further professional qualifications may be considered an advantage.
- At least five (5) years of experience in litigation.
- Fluent knowledge of Greek andEnglish, both written and oral. Additional languages maybe considered an advantage.
- Excellent use of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- Ability to take on responsibility and to execute difficult tasks efficiently and with precision, by establishing priorities and responding to competing demands under pressure of frequent, multiple and tight deadlines.
- Excellent legal research, writing and drafting skills;analytical, organizationaland problem-solving skills.
- Display strong negotiation techniques.
- Excellent team– working skillswith a sense of responsibility; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dynamic, with pleasant personality and integrity of character.
Main Duties
- Conduct court hearings, make court appearances and preparation of cases.
- Draft, review and file pleadings, affidavits, applications and other court documents.
- Draftand reviewletters, legal documents, contractsand legal opinions.
- Negotiation and conclusion of agreements/transactions.
- Conducting legal research; research of case law and statutes of Cyprus, UK and EU legislation.
- Research and provideexpert advice and opinions on various legal matters.
- Liaise and meet with clients.
- Liaise with authorities, organizations and third parties.
