We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Lawyer to join our team in Limassol.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Preparation and review of contracts, resolutions, power of attorneys, legal opinions and any other legal document related to department.
· Handling, monitoring and dealing with all aspects of corporate transactions.
· Ability to advise and issue opinions on corporate and commercial law as well as related fields of law and matters.
· Up to date with all the changes in the laws and regulations in several jurisdictions.
· Ensuring compliance with AML regulations.
· Coordinating and performing regulatory filings, procedures, and legal opinions.
· Evaluating and monitoring the compliance of our customers with all applicable regulatory and legislative provisions.
· AML/Risk Assessment by using our software.
· Providing advice and guidance to the employees of the firm regarding the AML regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
· University Degree in Law.
· LL.M (Master of Laws) will be considered an advantage.
· Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
· Three years of experience in a Law Firm in Corporate/Compliance matters.
· Excellent proficiency in MS Office.
· Fluent in English and Greek (both oral and written).
· Understanding of confidentiality rules and non-disclosure policies.
· Responsible, attentive to details, accurate, positive and supportive.
· Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
· Ability to work and report under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
· Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, ambitious and a team player.
