We are looking for a self-motivated and ambitious individual to join the role of Compliance Assistant on behalf of our client.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintaining the compliance monitoring program
- Identifying and rectifying compliance deficiencies
- Analysing regulatory developments, new compliance legislation and market development
- Drafting, reviewing, changing company’s policies and manuals
- Reviewing marketing material and liaising with marketing department for potential changes
- Providing training to sales personnel
- Assisting the Compliance Officer on any compliance matters
Main requirements:
- Previous experience in compliance role in a CIF is a must
- University Degree in Law, Finance, Economics or in a related discipline
- Familiar with the Cyprus, EU Financial Services and AML Law and circulars
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to details
