The Council of Europe jointly with the Ministry of Justice of Luxembourg is organising the high-level Conference “Better Enforcement of National Judicial Decisions: A human rights and rule of law requirement”, under the auspices of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
We are pleased to invite you to the Conference and kindly request that you disseminate this invitation through your professional networks.
The Conference will provide a platform to facilitate discussions and exchange of expertise among participants on the enforcement of domestic judicial decisions, which represents a constituent element of the rule of law and of access to justice. The Conference aims to identify the main systemic and structural problems concerning the non-execution of national judicial decisions. It will explore best practices in relation to the organisation of systems of implementation of domestic judicial decisions and the role of existing soft law in the establishment of quality enforcement procedures.
The Conference will be held on 17 March 2025 at the Headquarters of the Council of Europe, (Palais de l’Europe, room 8), Strasbourg, France.
The working languages of the Conference will be English and French.
