Athos Demetriou Associates LLC with offices in Nicosia are currently seeking to recruit a Junior Lawyer to join the firm to work as part of a team of lawyers handling matters in intra-related disciplines. The successful candidate shall report to a Senior Associate and the Managing Partner.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage and advise on day-to-day requests from clients in the Investment and Financial sector as their client executive
- Preparing opinions and undertaking research
- Drafting and amending M&A’s
- Drafting legal documents
- Drafting court pleadings
- Representing clients before Courts and other authorities
Key Skills/Experience:
- Law Degree preferably from a UK university
- Master’s Degree shall be considered an advantage
- Cyprus Bar Association qualification with minimum 2 years of experience
- Experience in the Securities and Investment sector shall be considered an advantage
- Fluency in Greek and English (Written & Spoken) is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and excellent computer literacy
