Job Responsibilities
Drafting legal documents including but not limited to: resolutions, minutes, Power of Attorneys, and more.
Drafting legal opinions and legal memos on corporate, commercial and contract law issues.
Incorporation of companies in various jurisdictions.
Preparation and submission of documents to the Cyprus Registrar of companies.
Drafting and reviewing various types of agreements and contracts.
Provide legal advice on corporate and/or commercial matters.
Ensure compliance with AML legislation and carry out due diligence on clients.
Reviewing and commenting on transaction and/or legal documents from Cyprus law perspective.
Communication with local and international banks and preparation of documentation for submission to banks.
Qualifications required
University degree in law
Minimum post qualified experience of 1 year is essential.
Knowledge of corporate law and regulation.
Excellent English or Greek written and verbal communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire a Junior Accounting Assistant with exceptional bookkeeping and accounting skills to support our Finance department in Law firm Michalaki, Pitsillidou & Co LLC in Limassol . Accounting assistants are expected to work comfortably under pressure with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates should be detail oriented, exercise sound judgment and must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen interest in providing support to the department’s CFO. They will be familiar with basic bookkeeping, tax and accounting principles and possess incredible accuracy, strong IT skills and excellent time management
Responsibilities
- Maintain the General Ledger (posting invoices and payments, handle accruals and prepayments)
- Update Fixed Asset Register
- Handle and reconcile related company transactions
- Perform Bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Perform reconciliations with suppliers’ statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist in Budgeting process
- Assist in Payroll, VAT and VIES returns preparation
- Assist the CFO in the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or related field or LCCI/CAT qualification
- Very good communication skills in Greek and English languages both verbal and written
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as a member of a team
- Excellent computer skills and sound exposure to accounting software(s)
- Organizational skills and ability to manage and meet strict deadlines
- Self-motivated, taking initiative, energetic and able to work under pressure
