The law firm Andreas P. Siapanis & Associates LLC in Nicosia is growing and is looking for a motivated and dynamic CORPORATE LAWYER to join their team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis within the Corporate Department, handling a wide variety of matters including but not limited to drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements, Registration of Corporations and other entities, Filing Strike Offs, Liquidations, Trademarks etc.
Responsibilities include:
- Take lead in legal engagements and handle key client relationships
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements and documentation across a wide spectrum, sale and lease agreements, resolutions, POA, legal opinions etc;
- Fully knowledgeable of all the procedures of the office of the Cyprus Registrar of Companies, corporate procedures, drafting, reviewing and preparing of all relevant forms and documentation
- Following and complying with KYC procedures according to the applicable Laws
- Preparation of applications for the opening of bank accounts and subsequent maintenance
- Handling Strike Off Procedures, Liquidations etc.
- Filing of Trademarks
- Handling, steering and successfully concluding dealings;
- Communication with clients on a daily basis and dealing with their everyday needs
- To appear in other authorities for all client-related matters
- To handle day to day demands and clients’ requests.
- Ad Hoc duties as and when required
Requirements:
- Holder of a Masters/Bachelor Degree in Law.
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association;
- At least four years post-qualification working experience. Candidates with related overseas experience or other related experience will also be considered;
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (knowledge of other foreign languages will be considered an advantage).
- Good computer skills, Microsoft Office & Internet
- Professional personal presentation with a customer service orientation and enthusiastic team player.
- Highly organized individual who is willing to meet tight deadlines, multitask and work in a challenging work environment.
