Job Description
The successful candidate will work on a full time basis as part of a team of lawyers handling matters within the area of expertise of the Property / Immigration and Corporate department in which they will be placed. The successful candidate will be reporting to a Senior Associate (Head of the respective Department) or to an Associate of the relevant Department.
Georgios Diogenous & Associates LLC is seeking to recruit a Property Immigration & Corporate Lawyer for their Limassol Office. The successful candidate should have the following:
Qualifications/Skills:
- University degree in Law
- At least 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge and ability to understand contents of property & immigration material (procedures, applications, legal framework)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English language
- Russian will be considered as an advantage
- Computer Literate (MS Office applications, word, excel, outlook etc.)
- Comfortable multi-tasking and able to deliver results under pressure and under tight deadlines
- Strong personality & managerial skills (managing and coordination of projects)
- Responsible, attentive to details, accurate, positive and supportive
- Understanding of confidentiality rules and non-disclosure policies.
- Experience in naturalization and PR procedures
- LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) with a minimum grade of 2.1 (upper second) from a British University or equivalent;
- LL.M.(Master of Laws), especially in Corporate or Legal Practice Course (LPC) will be considered an advantage
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to take initiatives, work under minimum direction and take responsibility for own actions;

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Legal assistance in property and/or immigration projects
- Preparing, executing, processing and/or reviewing legal documents (contracts, applications, etc.)
- Advising & supporting on legal matters related to property & immigration fields
- Being able to complete the assigned projects and revert within the assigned deadline
- Timely managing and coordinating of various routine tasks
- Meetings with clients
- Preparation, assistance and handling of naturalization, permanent residence and other similar applications.
- Handling all aspects of Cyprus Immigration applications – Temporary Residence Permit, Yellow Slip, PR schemes;
- Attending conferences or other events in Cyprus or abroad and marketing the services of the Firm;
- Undertake any other responsibilities of a lawyer, according to the needs of the Firm.
- Preparing, drafting and reviewing various corporate documents (contracts, agreements, resolutions, POA’s, M&A, Corporate Registers etc.);
- Knowledge of all corporate procedures in the Department of Registrar of Companies (Cyprus);
- Opening of Bank Accounts in Cyprus;
- Handling all aspects of Cyprus Immigration applications – Temporary Residence Permit, Yellow Slip, PR schemes;
- Consultation of corporate and immigration clients, maintaining client relations, attending meetings;
- Formation of Companies/ open bank account
- Drafting commercial contracts, sale and purchasing agreements etc
