The law firm Andreas P. Siapanis & Associates LLC in Nicosia is growing and looking for a motivated and dynamic Lawyer to join their team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis handling a wide variety of matters including but not limited to drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements, Litigation, Land Law etc.
Responsibilities include:
- Take the lead in legal engagements and handle key client relationships
- Litigation work and appearing in court, drafting and submitting court documents;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements and documentation across a wide spectrum, sale and lease agreements, resolutions, POA, legal opinions etc;
- Carrying out work concerning the Cyprus Land Registry for subjects such as property transfer and purchase, estate management, building permits etc;
- Communication with clients on a daily basis and dealing with their everyday needs
- To appear in other authorities for all client-related matters and coordinate with the authorities for various cases
- Providing support for Migration department, knowledge of the different visa-types and work-permits is considered an advantage (previous experience in this will be considered an advantage)
- Ad Hoc duties as and when required
Requirements:
- Holder of a Masters/ Bachelor Degree in Law.
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association;
- At least five years post-qualification working experience. Candidates with related overseas experience or other related experience will also be considered;
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (knowledge of other foreign languages will be considered an advantage).
- Good computer skills, Microsoft Office & Internet
- Professional personal presentation with a customer service orientation and enthusiastic team player.
- Highly organized individual with ambition who is willing to meet tight deadlines, multitask and work in a challenging work environment.
