Human Asset is looking for a Legal Advisor, on behalf of our client, a big international group located in Nicosia.
Position’s Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports the provision of legal advice to all Departments related to policy & procedure proposals, so as to be proactive and mitigate risks in terms of legal implications impacting the Company.
- Reviews and monitors all outstanding litigations and liaises with and manages external lawyers in order to ensure that the highest quality legal advice is made available to the Company in the most efficient way.
- Reviews and drafts documentations in various corporate deals (i.e. services agreements, M&A’s, restructuring, purchase and sale etc.), in order to contribute in the provision of high quality legal advice.
- Supports the provision of advice on matters of law, corporate governance, regulatory matters and oversight and supervision of subsidiary Company transactions and compliance, in order to protect the Company from potential legal implications.
- Keeps abreast of all legislations, regulatory developments and trends in order to identify and propose solutions and improvements that will enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of legal services provided.
Position’s Requirements
- Acquiring an LLB preferably in corporate, commercial or shipping law
- At least of 3 years of experience is required in a similar role
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent command of Greek and English language
- Attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Excellent organizational & communication skills
