We are seeking to recruit a young, dynamic, highly-motivated individual to join our law firm as a Junior Lawyer.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
- Excellent computer literacy skills.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Efficient and able to take initiative.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Well organized, reliable and proactive.
- Dynamic, flexible, strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Attention to details, thorough/meticulous.
- Any corporate administration experience will be considered an advantage.
- A Master’s Degree or other Professional Qualification will be considered an advantage.
- Previous legal experience of 1-3 years will be considered an advantage.
Position responsibilities:
- Supporting and assisting the senior lawyer on a daily basis on preparation of court cases, legal documents.
- Simple drafting of legal opinions, contracts, legal documents.
- Researching of Cyprus statutory law and case law, common law, and EU law.
- Advising and liaising with clients for the handling of their cases.
- Carrying out ad hoc duties assigned by the lawyer.
