We are seeking a highly skilled and pragmatic Corporate Lawyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Intellectual Property law, Contract Law, company Law, and excellent rational thinking, as well as proven experience in resolving issues using a business-oriented approach.
Corporate Legal Counsel – Key Responsibilities
- Legal Advisory: Provided comprehensive legal support on corporate, commercial, employment, IP, and regulatory matters.
- Contract Management: Drafted, reviewed, and negotiated commercial agreements, ensuring compliance and legal protection.
- Corporate Governance: Supported compliance with legal obligations; prepared internal governance documents and policies.
- M&A Support: Participated in due diligence and supported M&A transactions, including document drafting and negotiation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitored legal developments to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Intellectual Property: Advised on IP strategy; managed registrations, licensing, and enforcement actions.
- Dispute Resolution: Assisted in resolving disputes across contracts, employment, and IP.
- Legal Research: Conducted statutory and case law analysis to support business decisions.
Requirements
- Law degree (additional certifications a plus)
- 3–4+ years' legal experience
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus legislation
- Reference letter required
