Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for a high calibreindividual who seeks a position of challenge in a fast pace, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will report to the Internal Legal Advisor - Director.
Main responsibilities include:
· Provide advice on legal matters of the company and support Senior Management and staff
· Draft, review and implement the company’s business contracts, other legal agreements and documents
· Maintain close collaboration with the various departments of the company
· Liaise with the company’s external advisors
· Assist in legal research in relevant fields
· Attend Court and represent the Company together with external legal advisors
· Keep abreast of relevant legislation
· Perform other administrative legal work as required
Profile of the ideal candidate
· University degree in Law or relevant field
· At least 5 yearsof experience in a similar role preferably in an international law firm or a financial services institution
· Experience in the forex industry will be considered an advantage
· Very good knowledge of the regulatory regime for financial markets and investment firms
· Knowledge of Data protection and Intellectual Property law and regulations will be considered an advantage
· Dynamic, hands-on and results driven
· Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and under pressure
· High levels of commitment, energy and drive
· Very good communication and interpersonal skills
· Computer literate
· Good knowledge of English
