The Procedural Law Unit (PLU) of the University of Nicosia is thrilled to announce its 4th Annual Symposium, and we cordially invite you to join us on Saturday, 14th of December, 2024, from 9:30 to 14:30. The event will take place at the Discovery Hall of the University of Nicosia.
Mission
The main objective of the Symposium is to enable it to function in the long run as an annual forum where research findings, papers, important issues and developments concerning the administration of justice in Cyprus, the EU and internationally will be presented, discussed, and analysed.
The theme and topics of this year
The 2024 Symposium aims to continue previous years’ efforts and hopefully attract even greater interest and attention from all stakeholders in Cyprus and abroad. The general theme for this year's conference is “Judicial Delays Threatening the Rule of Law”. The event will be live streamed and there will be interpretation from Greek to English.
The papers and findings of the event will be published.
The symposium is recognised as a certified program for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) with 4.5 Certified CPD Units.
