This concise guide highlights the most useful tools and resources available on the European e-Justice Portal and is designed to help lawyers make effective use of its services in their daily practice, including for:
- Registers (business, insolvency, land): Search interconnected national registers across the EU (e.g. companies, insolvency cases, land records).
- Find a legal professional: EU-wide directory to locate lawyers and other justice professionals.
- Online forms: Standardised electronic forms for EU judicial procedures (e.g. European Payment Order, Small Claims).
- Training of justice professionals: Access to training resources and platforms for judges, lawyers, and other practitioners.
- Case-law and law databases: Search EU and national legislation and case law (including ECLI search engine).
- Glossaries and translations: Multilingual legal terminology tools to support cross-border understanding.

- European Judicial Atlas: Identify competent courts across Member States.
- Information on procedures and legal action: Guidance on how to bring a case, applicable law, costs, and legal aid.
