4. Circumvention / violation of EU sanctions
   • Presentation of the EU directive
   • Transposition efforts / EU infringement procedure launched
   • Compliance recommendations

5. Case studies dealing with ownership, control, trust structure, violation/circumvention risks for Cypriot entities

Registration Details:

• Participation Fee: €50 euro (incl. VAT). Following the successful completion of registration, the amount is non-refundable. A registration that has not been paid will be considered invalid.

• Deadline: The deadline for registration is 12 December (11:00 a.m.), 2025

• The seminar forms part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of Advocates and is accredited with 3 CPD/AML units. Important Note: Please note that participants who have already attended the seminar held on 21/10/2025 at the Cleopatra Hotel will not be eligible to receive additional CPD units, as it is the same seminar.

• The units will be automatically recorded by the Cyprus Bar Association (CBA) for those who attend the seminar in its entirety; therefore NO certificates of attendance will be issued for CBA Members.

• Advocates must log in to their CBA account as ADVOCATES before registering to the seminar. Please do not register as a GUEST.
