The Monitoring and Compliance Department of the Cyprus Bar Association is organizing an online seminar, on the subject: 

« STR/SAR Quality and Effectiveness: Submitting Reports that FIUs Need»

Programme Outline:

  • Obligation to report STRs/SARs to MOKAS under the Cyprus AML regulatory framework
  • Preparing and submitting quality STRs/SARs to MOKAS
  • Typologies, red flag indicators, patterns and trends emerging from STRs/SARs submitted to MOKAS

Registration Details: 

  • Participation Fee: €30 euro (incl. VAT). Following the successful completion of registration, the amount is non-refundable.  A registration that has not been paid will be considered invalid.
  • Deadline: The deadline for registration is 15 June 2026 (11:59 p.m.)
  • The seminar forms part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of Advocates and is accredited with 2 CPD/AML verified units.  
  • The units will be automatically recorded by the Cyprus Bar Association (CBA) for those who attend the seminar in its entirety;  therefore NO certificates of attendance will be issued for CBA Members.
  • Advocates must log in to their CBA account as ADVOCATES before registering to the seminar. Please do not register as a GUEST.

  • For those who wish to obtain a certificate of attendance, it should be noted that they will be available within 2 weeks from the date of the seminar.
