Corporate Lawyer
Job Duties:
Matters regarding Corporate Law
- Manage matters regarding the incorporation of companies and corporate governance
- Handle various aspects of corporate transactions
- Prepare and review contracts, resolutions, power of attorneys, and other relevant legal documents related to the department
- Advice on corporate and commercial law matters
- Meet with clients to provide solutions for their businesses
- Maintain up to date knowledge in regards to the laws and regulations of Cyprus
- Communicate with the Registrar of Companies, banks, and other relevant authorities
- Coordinate and perform regulatory filings, procedures, and legal opinions
- Conduct the reporting in regards to DAC6 Directive
Matters regarding AML/Risk Assessment
- Evaluate and monitor the compliance of our customers with all applicable regulatory and legislative provisions
- Provide advice and guidance to the employees of the firm regarding the AML regulations
- Ensure that company is in compliance with AML regulations
Qualifications and Personal Characteristics:
- University Degree in Law
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- 3-4 years of experience with Corporate and Compliance Matters
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language
- Ability to communicate clearly and properly with associates and clients
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
- High sense of confidentiality
- Teamwork spirit
Remuneration Package:
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive remuneration package including 13th salary, private investment plan, coverage of cost of license for registered practicing advocates etc.
