Vasiliou Law is looking to recruit a Lawyer for the Corporate Department to join our offices in Larnaca. The job offering is for full time employment, starting date as soon as possible.
The successful applicant will play a key role assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Department including the incorporation and administration of Cyprus companies and drafting and negotiating of corporate and similar agreements.
You must have experience from 4 years and onwards as a Corporate Lawyer, especially for the handling, drafting and negotiating of agreements. English and Greek fluency is essential.

Job description
- Extensive negotiating and drafting skills to provide watertight contracts and agreements relating to Corporate Law.
- Analytical skills understanding the needs of (business) clients and be able to analyze and identify areas that could cause legal problems and offering sound solutions for identified problems.
- Prepare, execute and process documents such as board resolutions, agreements, power of attorney, and MAA.
- Incorporation and administration of Cyprus and foreign jurisdiction companies.
- Prepare application forms of the Cyprus Registrar of Companies.
- Liaise with Authorities (including Registrar of Companies, Tax, VAT department etc).
- Maintain registers of the company as required under the provisions of the Companies Law and update records in company’s computer systems and databases.
- Maintain the legal files of the Company in an accurate and orderly manner.
- Deal with any other general matters relating to the clients’ affairs as may be required from time to time.
- Liaise with banks for the opening of accounts (for companies and individuals) on behalf of clients.
- Comply with KYC requirements and keep records in the database.
Candidate profile
- From 4 years+ working experience as a Corporate Lawyer is a must.
- Extensive experience in the handling, drafting and negotiating of agreements for clients.
- Legal writing and contracts drafting skills.
- Law Degree is required. A License from the Cyprus Bar Association will be considered as an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Greek is required.
- Knowledge of Registrar of Companies procedures.
- Highly energetic, an agreeable personality and a team player.
- Attention to detail and outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
