Athos Demetriou Associates LLC with offices in Nicosia are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

·        Supervision of a team of Corporate Administrators 

·        Drafting legal opinionson various topics

·        Preparation of due diligence reports

·        Drafting, review and amending Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Cypriot entities

·        Reviewing and drafting legal documents including but not limited to Shareholders’ Agreements, legal agreements, Powers of Attorney, directors’ and shareholders’ minutes and resolutions

·        Providing legal advice to clients for changing the structure in Cypriot entities

·        Review of corporate documents for various changes in the structure of the Cypriot Companies

·        Drafting of court applications for various corporate matters (restoration of companies, reduction of share capital, amendments on the Memorandum of Association)

·        Undertaking and overseeing the formation, administration and dissolution of companies in Cyprus and offshore jurisdictions

·        Handling client due diligence for corporate and trust structures

·        Support in the development and implementation of the firm’s compliance regime

·        Liaising with agents, external and internal advisers and consultants on various corporate matters

Key Skills/Experience:

·        LLB, preferably from a UK university

·        LL.M/Master Degree will be considered an advantage

·        Experience with CySEC will be considered an advantage

·        Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience as a Corporate Lawyer is a must

·        Fluency in Greek and English (Written & Spoken) is essential 

·        Good team player

·        Attention to details and well organized

·        Ability to work under pressure 

·        Excellent communication skills

·        Enthusiastic team player. Highly organized individual who is willing to multitask and work in a challenging work environment.
