Χρέος και ΜΕΔ: Επιτεύγματα και Προκλήσεις
Η Αντιπροσωπεία της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής στην Κύπρο, σε συνεργασία με την Κεντρική Τράπεζα Κύπρου (ΚΤΚ), διοργανώνει ημερίδα με θέμα: «Χρέος και Μη Εξυπηρετούμενα Δάνεια: Επιτεύγματα και Προκλήσεις».
Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 5 Φεβρουαρίου 2020, το πρωί (08:30-13:00), στο Αμφιθέατρο της ΚΤΚ ( Λεωφ. Κέννεντυ 80).
Θα ακολουθήσει δεξίωση.
O Κεντρικός Ομιλητής της εκδήλωσης θα είναι ο Διοικητής της ΚΤΚ, κ. Κωνσταντίνος Ηροδότου.
Επίσης, θα συμμετέχουν ως ομιλητές εκπρόσωποι από τον Ευρωπαϊκό Μηχανισμό Σταθερότητας, την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή, καθώς και εμπειρογνώμονες από την Κύπρο.
Στην εκδήλωση θα συζητηθεί κυρίωςη αποτελεσματικότητα του πλαισίου εκποιήσεων και αφερεγγυότητας, η κουλτούρα αποπληρωμής χρέους και η χρηματοοικονομική παιδεία, καθώς και η πρόοδος και το μέλλον της τραπεζικής ένωσης.
Η εκδήλωση θα έχει ταυτόχρονη διερμηνεία σε δύο γλώσσες (ελληνικά και αγγλικά).

Indebtedness and NPLs: Achievements and Challenges
The Representation of the European Commission in Cyprus, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Cyprus, organises the conference: “Indebtedness and NPLs: Achievements and Challenges”.
It will take place on 5 February 2020, in the morning (08:30-13:30), at the Amphitheatre of the Central Bank of Cyprus (Kennedy Avenue 80, Nicosia).
A light lunch will follow.
The Keynote speaker of the event will be the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus, Mr Constantinos Herodotou.
Additionally, there will be speakers from the European Stability Mechanism, the European Commission and other experts from Cyprus.
The main topics of discussion will be the effectiveness of the foreclosure and insolvency framework, the payment culture and the financial literacy in Cyprus, as well as the progress and future of the Banking Union.
There will be simultaneous interpretation in Greek and English.
