LLPO Law Firm is seeking to expand its team of professionals by hiring a new Associate Corporate Lawyer to join its offices in Nicosia, Cyprus. As we take professionalism and integrity seriously, we are looking for a team player who is organized, hardworking and able to work well under pressure. The selected associate will be expected to work alone or as part of a team, dealing with a variety of out-of-court, Cyprus law commercial and corporate, contract and regulatory legal matters.
Requirements to join our team:
- Cyprus Advocate qualification as provided by the Advocates Law Cap.2;
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in corporate law;
- Good command of the English language;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing;
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail;
- Managerial and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on corporate and commercial matters;
- Review, draft and advise on contracts for implementation of transactions;
- Review and draft documents relating to companies and their operations;
- Communicate with clients and counterparties to handle and close transactions;
- Assist in the preparation of legal opinions and in-depth legal research;
- Where needed, assist in court proceedings relating to corporate matters;
- Participate in meetings and negotiations for clients’ transactions;
- Assist in the skills’ development of junior members of the firm;
- Manage people and clients to deliver work under the firm’s engagements.
