As part of its drive to further enrich and expand its litigation department and build on its strong track record acting for high-profile local and international clients in complex disputes, Scordis, Papapetrou & Co LLC is looking to recruit a motivated and dedicated lawyer to join its litigation team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drafting of pleadings, applications, affidavits and other legal documents.
- Conducting legal research and prepare reports and legal opinions.
- Appearing before the District Courts, the Administrative Court and the Courts of Special Jurisdiction.
- Participating in the conduct of complex commercial and corporate litigation and multijurisdictional disputes.
- Providing advice to clients, under the supervision of a Partner, with regard to all aspects of litigation and arbitration.
Requirements
- Law degree (holding any further academic or vocational qualification in Law/Legal Practice will be considered an advantage).
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
- At least two years of experience in civil litigation and/or in the conduct of cases before the Administrative Court and/or the Tenders Review Authority and/or Competition Authority of Cyprus and/or the Employment Disputes Tribunal.
- Excellent command of Greek and English language both verbal and written
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
