We are looking for a high-calibre, career driven individual to join our firm’s Corporate and Commercial Law Department.
Job Description:
- Drafting and reviewing corporate and commercial agreements
- Handling real estate transactions
- Handling complex corporate transactions, reorganisations and restructurings, as well as banking and finance transactions
- Legal opinions
- Handling the formation and registration of companies
- Dealing with execution of changes in the structure of companies (shareholding, directorship, share capital, name) and submission of annual returns
- Handling of due diligence procedures, KYC
- Liaising with clients, external regulators and professional advisers
Qualifications required:
- Law degree (minimum upper second class) from a reputable university
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- 2 years (or more) experience in a corporate law environment
- An LPC, BAR or LLM shall be considered an additional advantage
- Previous experience in legal aspects of capital markets/financial services/funds/trusts shall be considered an additional advantage
- Excellent Knowledge of English and Greek
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel
- Highly organized and motivated individual, able to meet tight deadlines, multi-task and work within a team in a challenging work environment
