Summary
Advising clients on legal matters and proceedings of general scope, the Litigation Lawyer will present cases at court proceedings & hearings, deal with requests & instruction and manage clients attentively & proactively.

Key Accountabilities of the Role
- Independently, and in parallel, manage civil & commercial court cases / litigation of general scope.
- Represent clients in court and other adversarial legal proceedings such as arbitrations.
- Conduct all pre-investigatory assessment work & prepare documentation required to file cases.
- Mediate dispute resolution cases offering specialist legal advice.
- Manage corporate transactions - Structure, draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including cross border, from onset through to completion.
- Coordinate with overseas based legal firms for any joint transactional cases.
Your Experience & Knowledge
- University Law Degree LPC, BAR or LLM.
- Substantial hands-on experience (ideally 5+ years) independently handling court cases & litigation proceedings of general scope, including civil, commercial & banking.
- Proven experience in drafting/reviewing/negotiating commercial agreements and transactions.
- Experience of using Zygos platform will be also considered an additional advantage.
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
- Excellent oral and written command of Greek and English language.
- Driving license and vehicle.
