On behalf of our client, a reputable Law Firm providing services across all major areas of law, we seek to recruit an enthusiastic and high calibre professional for the position of Senior Corporate Lawyer, to be based in Nicosia.
THE POSITION
The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, providing the everyday corporate and commercial support, legal opinions, and will participate in various projects, offering support to the Partners of the Firm as required.
More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst other:
- Handle a portfolio of clients and provide legal expertise on corporate and commercial matters
- Maintain constant communication with clients and handle day to day queries in a prompt and professional manner
- Draft and review a variety of corporate and commercial legal documents including but not limited to contracts, commercial agreements, resolutions and power of attorneys
- Perform advance legal research and draft legal opinions
- Be involved in various projects and contribute by conducting extensive legal research and providing legal opinion and support
- Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external key stakeholders such as banks, authorities and other third parties
- Conduct legal due diligence investigations
- Keep abreast with current and forthcoming regulations and provide advice to clients within a regulatory framework
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
- Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) will be considered as an advantage
- Member of Cyprus Bar Association
- At least four (4) years of professional experience in the corporate department of a reputable, full-service law firm
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Solid legal research skills and critical thinking
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
- Excellent computer literacy
REMUNRATION PACKAGE
