I am looking to recruit for full-time employment a Real Estate Lawyer. Place of work - Limassol.
Duties
- Legal support to real estate transactions, including legal Due Diligence and drafting/reviewing agreements and other relevant documents;
- Drafting or reviewing of tenancy and alike agreements;
- Drafting/reviewing of corporate documents /commercial agreements/legal documents;
- Undertake KYC/AML/Risk Assessment of clients and keep records in the database;
- Conduct of legal research and rendering legal opinions and advice;
- Liaison with the Land Registry, the Tax Department and other public authorities;
Candidate profile
- At least 1 year working experience as a Real Estate Lawyer.
- At least 3 years working experience as a Lawyer.
- LLB is required. Preferably from an English or Scottish or Cyprus University. Holder of a LLM degree will be considered as an advantage.
- Cyprus Bar Association license will be considered as an advantage.
- Experience in civil litigation will be considered as an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Greek is required.
- Knowledge of real estate transactions and related procedures.
- Strong legal writing and contracts drafting skills.
- Solid knowledge of Corporate, Commercial Law.
- Knowledge of AML legislation and procedures.
- Experience in Immigration law and bank accounts opening is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
