We are looking to attract an enthusiastic and hardworking qualified lawyer with ambition to develop his/her career by joining our Tech Law Team in our Nicosia office, focusing on Intellectual Property, Data Protection and Technology Law.
The role will be focused around:
- advising clients on Cybersecurity incidents, data and security breaches,
- assisting clients on how to achieve compliance with the data protection and cybersecurity legislation,
- guiding clients on how to prepare for cybersecurity and/or GDPR audits,
- defending clients before the Commissioner for the Protection of Personal Data,
- operational compliance such as policy drafting, data transfer management and incident management,
- advising, reviewing, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, such as purchase and joint development agreements, master services agreements on software and IP licensing matters, supplier component sourcing and vendor agreements, collaboration agreements and other commercial transactional agreements,
- respond to legal requests from engineering, sourcing, business development, finance, and other teams, summarizing and communicating legal concepts in a clear and concise manner,
- guiding on the development of web applications and electronic tools,
- advise Companies on day-to-day and strategic commercial transactions that may include product liability, intellectual property rights, personal data protection indemnification as well as key company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of the law along with strong client management skills. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to have high standard of verbal skills both in Greek and English and the ability to analyze and evaluate the matters at hand – together with proficient IT skills.
