Roles & Responsibilities
- Advise clients on privacy-related matters and data protection.
- Evaluate the data protection and privacy practices of clients.
- Develop and implement privacy program frameworks for clients.
- Create organizational privacy policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct data inventories.
- Perform privacy assessments, gap analyses, data protection impact assessments, and audits.
- Assist clients in negotiating and drafting data processing and data sharing agreements, as well as other privacy-related documentation.
- Educate and raise data protection awareness within organizations and among clients.
- Support the company in executing its duties and obligations as Data Protection Officer (DPOs) and/or provide assistance to the designated DPO or privacy officer of clients.
- Be part of the EU and UK Representative team for clients, in compliance with EU GDPR and UK GDPR, respectively.
- Undertake other related tasks as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Law, or a subject demonstrating your expertise in the data protection and privacy domain.
- Knowledge of and experience with relevant data protection and privacy laws and regulations, particularly EU GDPR.
- Possession of relevant qualifications such as CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E, CISM, CISSP, as well as involvement in industry-related organizations, will be considered an asset.
- Fluent in English and Greek (knowledge of other languages is an advantage).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while confidently taking initiative.
- Excellent client service skills, with a commitment to confidentiality, integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.
- Eagerness and commitment to utilize and expand your knowledge and skills, actively supporting Privacy Minders' journey to becoming a leading privacy consulting firm.
