CONSTANTINOU PANAYIOTOU & CO LLC – GCP LAW, a law firm based in Nicosia, seeks to recruit TWO (2) highly motivated Lawyers with experience in the areas of Commercial Law, Contract Law, Cross Border Mergers and Litigation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating corporate/commercial contracts;
- Acting as Cypriot counsel on Mergers&Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, secured corporate finance, debt restructuring and settlement agreements, registration/perfection and enforcement of all types of securities;
- drafting of legal opinions and legal due diligence reports.
- acting as litigation attorney, handling corporate/commercial disputes before the competent courts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience at a law firm;
- A Law Degree (LLM will be considered an advantage);
- Cyprus Bar Association registered Lawyer;
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language;
- Contract drafting skills, deep understanding of the law, legal strategy skills and critical thinking, commitment to strict deadlines.
- A qualification as a licensed Insolvency Practitioner will be considered an advantage.
