Our Law Firm K. Alexandrou Theodotou LLC is seeking to recruit a Trainee Advocate for our office based in Nicosia.
TRAINEE ADVOCATE:
The potential candidate will have the opportunity to work in the Litigation department of the firm with various responsibilities ranging from drafting legal and other documents to assisting the firm’s attorneys and appearing in court with the guidance of a senior Advocate.
Furthermore, the candidate will have the opportunity to watch court proceedings of European, English and Cypriot cases, in the relevant countries
The Candidate should also assist in the selection of legal documents by working with Dr. Katerina Alexandrou-Theodotou, and with very distinguished consultants in Cyprus & UK.
In addition, the firm is an ADR and arbitration specialist, and the candidate will gain considerable knowledge in the field
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting of legal and other documents
- Appearing at court with the guidance of a senior lawyer
- Legal Research
Requirements:
- Holder of a Bachelor degree in Law (LLB)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- Excellent knowledge and use of computers (ECDL)
- Able to meet tight deadlines
- Confidentiality, integrity and professionalism
- Knowledgeable of European, English and Cypriot laws
