Legal Advisor, Nicosia (Hybrid) – LA/06/23
On behalf of our client, an oil and gas drilling company with operations in Cyprus and abroad, we are looking to recruit a legal advisor to join their offices in Nicosia.
Position’s Duties & Responsibilities:
· Provision of the relationship between the Cyprus team and General Counsel/Lawyers in Cyprus and abroad
· General paralegal duties – preparation of the documentation, engagement letters, contracts, agreements
· Participation in KYC and compliance procedures at the request
· Preparation of ad-hoc reports for management
· Carrying out the specific legal review as per instructions
· Participation in presentation preparations
· Attendance in board meetings, taking minutes
· Create various legal documentation and manage/maintain internal databases
· Preparing documents and files as per request of staff members
Position’s Requirements:
· Acquiring a Bachelor’s Degree in Law
· Master’s degree will be considered an advantage
· At least 2 years of experience
· Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
· Computer literacy
· Creativity, Adaptability and Organisational skills
· Attention to detail, Time management and results orientation skills
· Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
· Flexibility to travel (10-20% of the time)
