Lawyer Position_ Limassol Office

We are actively looking to recruit a legal professional to head the Limassol office of our firm. This pivotal position is not solely defined by legal expertise; it offers a unique opportunity for a lawyer with a strong entrepreneurial initiative and a passion for business development, to lead and foster the growth of our Limassol office in a wide range of dynamic sectors.

The successful candidate will work closely with the firm’s management to strategise and execute plans for the office's expansion and success. This role will involve overseeing and steering the operations in Limassol while capitalising on the opportunities presented by diverse industries and sectors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Providing legal advice and support to clients in various legal areas, including civil, corporate and commercial matters. Expertise in tech/games and/or shipping law would be considered an advantage.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts and business executives, to provide comprehensive legal solutions.

· Lead the expansion of the Limassol office and establish a strong local presence.

· Assist in the recruitment and mentoring of a high-performing legal team.

· Stay updated on industry trends, legislative changes, and emerging technologies.

Requirements And Skills:

· LLB (Bachelor of Laws).

· LL.M. (Master of Laws) or Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) or Legal Practice Course (LPC).

· Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.

· Computer literacy (Outlook, word, excel, etc).

· At least 3 years post qualification experience.

· Expertise in, or strong understanding of, international shipping regulations and/or technology-related legal issues will be considered an added advantage.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills in case handling and management.

· Excellent technical legal language skills and verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.

· Excellent client service skills.

· Team leadership and management skills, strong team orientation, ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
