Corporate Lawyer - Non-Contentious department
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Corporate Lawyer to join our firm’s Non-Contentious department in Nicosia. The remuneration package will be according to qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing legal advice to clients on a variety of legal matters, including regulatory and financial services matters.
2. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial agreements.
3. Preparation of legal opinions on corporate matters and transactions.
4. Advising and/or assisting clients with domestic and cross-border transactions, including M&A transactions, Banking and Finance and corporate governance.
5. Conducting legal research and legal due diligence.
Requirements:
1. Law degree from a recognized university. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
2. Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
3. 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in Cyprus with particular focus on regulatory and financial services matters.
4. Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, oral and written.
5. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
6. Ability to handle transactions with minimum supervision.
7. Organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team and individually.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Very good knowledge of legal research tools and software.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
11. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases.
