Lawyer – Litigation Department
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Lawyer to join our firm’s Litigation department in Nicosia. The remuneration package will be according to qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities include:
1. Drafting legal and other documents.
2. Court preparation and appearances.
3. Appearances before government or semi-government organizations and/or authorities.
4. Representing clients in arbitrations and mediations.
5. Preparation of legal advices on litigation matters.
6. Reviewing and drafting settlement agreements.
7. Undertaking legal research.
8. Liaising with various public authorities.
Requirements:
1. Law degree from a recognized university. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
2. Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
3. 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar position.
4. Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, oral and written.
5. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
6. Very good knowledge of legal research tools and software, including ZYGOS software.
7. Ability to handle cases with minimum supervision.
8. Organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team and individually.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
