The Commonwealth Young Lawyers are hosting the second in their popular Masterclass webinar series on “Cross-examining children and vulnerable people – radical change” to take place on 5th May at 1.00 -2.30 pm London BST.
Lynda Gibbs QC (Hon), the Dean of the Inns of Court College of Advocacy in England, will lead the masterclass on this particular area of skills training for advocates, with an examination of the protocols for preparing and examining children and vulnerable witnesses. Lynda will also give an overview of the accumulated learning from past travesties in the witness box from both witness and defendant perspectives.
Aimed at a pan profession audience of young practitioners, students of law or those wishing to gain insight into this complex and challenging area of advocacy, the event might be of interest to you.
